We're always looking for ways to reduce our climate impact and improve the sustainability of Realme Optics. Here are two ways we're doing just that, and we look forward to telling you about more positive changes we're making in the future. This is just the beginning.

Although many of us are aware of the catastrophe our planet is facing, we might still find it difficult to avoid disposable plastics and feel guilty about the waste we continue to produce. Pebble was created out of a desire to promote sustainability and reduce harm to the environment. It is designed to make use of the high-precision mirror pieces that have been discarded in the making of Realme Mirror, and the housing is made in partnership with No Plastic Sunday, a recycled plastic producer in South Korea. Pebble also comes with a microfiber pouch made from recycled water bottles and other single-use plastic waste.

Pebble is an emblem of our commitment to sustainability and of the environmental anxiety we feel alongside the rest of humanity. Its organic shape takes inspiration from the natural world we hope to preserve.

As many consumers are becoming aware, global commerce comes at a cost to the environment and contributes significantly to carbon emissions. Realme V was designed for transportation efficiency. Realme V’s unique shape and light weight means more units may be shipped at one time, resulting in less carbon emitted per mirror during international shipment. 

We are also consciously reducing our use of virgin plastic in editions of Realme Mirror. Realme V uses 50% less plastic than our previous edition of Realme Mirror, Realme Pro. However, Realme Essential – the original edition of Realme Mirror – remains the best choice for someone looking to avoid plastic altogether: it has always been made with zero plastic.
